Terms of use

Short version: MoodBook helps you find music to read to. Use it kindly, and understand that the music itself comes from YouTube.

The service

MoodBook composes suggestions and plays publicly available YouTube videos through YouTube's official embedded player. We do not host, download, modify or sell music. Availability of any track depends on YouTube and the rights holders.

YouTube

MoodBook uses YouTube API Services. By using MoodBook you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. How we handle data from YouTube is explained on our Privacy page.

Free plan and Pro

• The free plan lets you explore three books in full, forever. Books already on your shelf keep playing for free.
• Pro unlocks unlimited books: $59.99 per year or $9.99 per month. Founding Reader is a one-time $79 lifetime plan limited to the first 100 readers. In Ukraine you pay in hryvnia (₴1 490 per year, ₴249 per month, ₴1 990 for Founding Reader); elsewhere in US dollars.
• The exact price, renewal date and cancellation terms are shown at checkout before you pay. You can cancel a subscription at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Promo codes are personal and single-use unless stated otherwise. After a purchase you receive a restore code that brings Pro to your other devices; it is personal too. We may revoke codes that are shared publicly or obtained by abuse.

Refunds and cancellation

• Every purchase — monthly, yearly, or the Founding Reader lifetime plan — comes with a 14-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Write to portianoi1993@gmail.com within 14 days of paying and you get a full refund.
• A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the Account page or by writing to us; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and are not charged again after that.
• Checkout and card processing are handled by LiqPay (PrivatBank), our payment provider. The seller is Mykhailo Portianoi, a registered individual entrepreneur in Ukraine. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

Fair use

Do not attempt to overload the service, scrape it, or circumvent limits. We may block abusive traffic. The service is not available in territories we have chosen to block.

No warranty

MoodBook is provided as is. Suggestions are generated automatically and may be imperfect. We are not liable for the content of third-party videos.
